EISEN History Timeline

1969

Aug.

Founded as “Hirota Shokai”, we started a business exporting inch-sized pin gauges to the United States.
Then we also started domestic sales of millimeter-sized pin gauges.

1972

Sep.

With initial capital of ¥3,000,000, Hirota & Co., have reorganized into a corporate entity.
Renamed EISEN, EISEN Co., Ltd. was established.

1973

Nov.

Secured land for the factory in Koto-cho, Shiga prefecture.

1977

Nov.

Expansion of operations led to the establishment of a new factory.

1978

Nov.

EISEN Co., Ltd doubled its capital.

1981

Feb.

With initial capital of ¥2,000,000, Japan Hillox Co., Ltd. was established as EISEN Co., Ltd.’s Sales Department.

 

Jul.

Secured land for the head office in Notogawa-cho, Shiga prefecture.

 

Sep.

Expanded the factory in Koto-cho.

1983

May.

Japan Hillox Co., Ltd. doubled its capital.

1984

Apr.

The construction of the head office building in Notogawa-cho was completed.

1985

EISEN launched sales of its own brand.

Expanded the factory in Koto-cho.

1990

EISEN started the development of diamond tools.

1993

Jan.

Launched the sales of diamond tools.

1994

Sep.

EISEN Co., Ltd. increased its capital to ¥10,000,000.

1998

Sep.

EISEN Co., Ltd. absorbed and merged Japan Hillox Co., Ltd. , and increased its capital to ¥20,000,000.
